Notes

'Pink Dogwood Whisper' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Pink Dogwood Whisper') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its single pink blooms are flat with showy stamens and red pistils. Each stem carries two to four buds, and the flowers open in mid to late spring. The soft pink color looks like pink dogwood in spring.

Pairs well with Empress Wu hosta, Black Parrot tulip, Blonde Ambition blue grama, and Arrowwood viburnum.
