Notes

'Pink Jacket' common hyacinth (Hyacinthus orientalis 'Pink Jacket') is a bulb for borders, containers, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant, light blue-pink flowers bloom from early to late spring. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Bees visit the flowers, and the clumps grow about 14 inches tall.

Pairs well with Carnaval De Nice tulip, Dancing Queen hosta, and Prairie dropseed.
