Notes
'Pink Jewel' ornamental onion (Allium 'Pink Jewel') is a bulb for borders, pollinator gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and sandy or loamy soil. It sits low on the menu for deer. Its pink round flower heads are about three inches wide and sit on stems up to almost three feet tall. Each head is made of hundreds of tiny flowers, and bees and butterflies visit them.
Pairs well with Black Parrot tulip, Meadowsweet, and Tall fescue.
