Notes
'Serendipity' ornamental onion (Allium 'Serendipity') is a bulb for borders, containers, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. Its purple, fragrant flowers attract butterflies and bees. It is also drought tolerant. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything.
Pairs well with Cheyenne Spirit echinacea, Blue fescue, and Hyssop.
