Notes
'Summer Beauty' ornamental onion (Allium 'Summer Beauty') is a bulb for borders, pollinator gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. The flowers are fragrant and attract butterflies and bees. Once established, it is also drought tolerant.
Pairs well with Anise hyssop, Yarrow, and Magnus coneflower.
