Notes

'Pink Paeony' poppy (Papaver somniferum 'Pink Paeony') is an annual for borders and low maintenance gardens. It handles cool weather and a light frost. This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. It blooms from early to late summer, and butterflies and bees visit the flowers. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. The plant is drought tolerant and grows 35 to 47 inches tall.

Pairs well with Ostfriesland sage, Lupine, and Purple Sensation ornamental onion.
