Notes

'Pink Perfection' common hyacinth (Hyacinthus orientalis 'Pink Perfection') is a bulb for borders, containers, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Fragrant purple-red flowers open from early to late spring and attract bees. The petals are fuchsin red edged in paler solferino purple.

Pairs well with Dancing Queen hosta, Carnaval De Nice tulip, and Prairie dropseed.
