Notes
'Pink Perfection' dog's tooth violet (Erythronium dens-canis 'Pink Perfection') is a bulb for woodland gardens, shade borders, and naturalizing. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and dry soil. Nodding pink flowers open in early to late spring above burgundy-mottled foliage. They open a darker pink and soften with age. The plant goes dormant before summer, so set it near late-emerging perennials like hostas and toadlilies.
Pairs well with New York fern, Yellow root, and Skyblue aster.
