Notes
'Pinnacle' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Pinnacle') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The large flowers look white from a distance, but the centers have a pink cast. A few stamens give the blooms a creamy look. Myron D. Bigger bred it in 1970.
Pairs well with Iris, Tiger lily, New Jersey tea, and Christmas fern.
