Notes

'Pinokkio' foxtail lily (Eremurus 'Pinokkio') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist, sandy or loamy soil. Tall spikes of chrome yellow flowers with orange anthers open from early to late summer, and bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds visit the blooms. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. Its drought tolerance makes it easy to keep.

Pairs well with Feather reed grass, Gaura, and Little bluestem.
