Notes

'Plantation Pink' camellia (Camellia sasanqua 'Plantation Pink') is a shrub for borders, hedges, privacy screens, and foundation plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade and dry to wet, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It is evergreen and has fragrant flowers in autumn and again in winter. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. Bees and birds visit the plant, and its arching form grows fast.

Pairs well with Azalea, Foam flower, and Asiatic jasmine.
