Notes

'Polyvert' chive (Allium 'Polyvert') is an herb for borders, containers, pollinator gardens, and food gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and sandy or loamy soil. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. The fragrant plants bloom from early to late spring and again from early to late summer. Bees and butterflies visit the flowers.

Pairs well with PowWow Wild Berry coneflower, Sorbet peony, Supersweet 100 tomato, and Common comfrey.
