Notes

'Pop Star' carnation (Dianthus 'Pop Star') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average soil of most types. It blooms in early to late spring and again in early to late summer. The fragrant flowers attract butterflies and bees. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice.

Pairs well with Coneflower, Tussock bellflower, and Lavender.
