Notes

'Poppin' Purple' lily-of-the-nile (Agapanthus 'Poppin' Purple') is a perennial for pots, garden beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun. Dark buds open to starry violet blooms on stiff, upright stems that attract bees. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. The arching leaves stay evergreen.

Pairs well with Mondo grass, Tuberose, and Southern magnolia.
