Notes
'Porcelain Doll' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Porcelain Doll') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant flowers open pale blush and soon fade to creamy white. Both flowers and stems hold well in rough weather, so the plant needs no support.
Pairs well with Japanese spirea, Switchgrass, Garlic chives, and Pussytoes.
