Notes

'President Roosevelt' rhododendron (Rhododendron 'President Roosevelt') is an evergreen shrub for borders, shade gardens, woodland settings, and specimen plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to moist, sandy or loamy soil. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. It blooms in early to late spring, and hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit the flowers.

Pairs well with Western sword fern, Red trillium, and Paris coral bells.
