Notes
'Primrose Queen' foxtail lily (Eremurus 'Primrose Queen') is a bulb for borders, cottage gardens, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist, sandy or loamy soil. The primrose-yellow flowers have orange anthers and open from early to late summer. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the blooms. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything.
Pairs well with Feather reed grass, Mexican hat, and Casa Blanca lily.
