Notes

'Princess' peony (Paeonia 'Princess') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Its frilled, light pink flowers age to white in early to late spring, and butterflies visit them. Kelway bred it.

Pairs well with David garden phlox, Star Gazer lily, Jackmanii clematis, and Greig's tulip.
