Notes
'Princess Phaedra' peony (Paeonia 'Princess Phaedra') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The light pink, semi-double flowers have ruffled petals with cream edges and a light citrus fragrance. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. Joshua Scholten bred it.
Pairs well with Dancing Queen hosta, Spiked speedwell, Prairie dropseed, and Phantom panicle hydrangea.
