'Professeur Eduard Morren' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Professeur Eduard Morren') is a shrub for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its woody stems stay through winter, so you only need to trim out dead wood in spring. Give it room in a border where its large blooms can show.

Pairs well with Stargazer lily, Sedge, and Irish moss.
