Notes

'Puffed Cotton' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Puffed Cotton') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant, cream-white flowers form billowy balls with 2 to 3 buds per stem. William Henry Krekler bred it, and Klehm's Song Sparrow Perennial Farm introduced it in 2003.

Pairs well with Wild ginger, Ostrich fern, African Queen lily, and Black Hero tulip.
