Notes

'Pusztaflamme' sage (Salvia nemorosa 'Pusztaflamme') is a perennial for borders, pollinator gardens, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy soil. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Deep rosy pink flowers appear in late spring, then again from early to late summer and early to late autumn. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the fragrant blooms.

Pairs well with Standing Ovation little bluestem, Jeana garden phlox, and Green Spice coral bells.
