Notes
'Blue by You' sage (Salvia nemorosa 'Blue by You') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, pollinator gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy soil. It forms a clumping mound and has fragrant flowers that draw butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. It also tolerates drought once settled in.
Pairs well with Anise hyssop, Jeana garden phlox, and Standing Ovation little bluestem.
