Notes

'Ranieri' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Ranieri') is a shrub for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The blooms mix violet, carmine-pink shading, and rose-pink edges around a violet-red center. An Italian breeder developed it.

Pairs well with Nepeta, Pincushion flower, and Sedge.
