Notes

'Ren Mian Tao Hua' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Ren Mian Tao Hua') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Fragrant, semi-double, deep purplish-pink flowers open in early to mid spring. Each bloom measures about 8 inches across and faces upward. The stems are hardy and wind does not easily damage them.

Pairs well with Catmint, Blue fescue, and Cinnamon fern.
