Notes
'Renhy' panicle hydrangea (Hydrangea paniculata 'Renhy') is a shrub for borders, specimen planting, hedges, and privacy screens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It grows fast into an arching shrub that reaches 6 to 8 feet tall. White to pink blooms appear from early to late summer, and bees visit them. Deer tend to browse other plants first.
Pairs well with Miss Kim lilac, Sensitive fern, and Fire Island hosta.
