Notes

'Rensun' panicle hydrangea (Hydrangea paniculata 'Rensun') is a shrub for borders, specimen planting, hedges, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Deer tend to pass it by. The arching shrub grows quickly to 48 to 60 inches tall and 36 to 48 inches wide. White blooms age to strawberry red, and bees visit them.

Pairs well with Miss Kim lilac, Krossa Regal hosta, and Western sword fern.
