Notes
'Rinhosen' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Rinhosen') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The large, rose pink flowers open late in spring. They have cream-colored centers with yellow edges and are held well above the foliage. The medium size plant spreads, so give it room.
Pairs well with Perennial candytuft, Blazing star, Sensitive fern, and Carlton daffodil.
