Notes

'Rondo' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Rondo') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Fragrant, semi-double pink flowers open in early to mid spring. Each bloom can reach 8 inches wide and has red-purple flares at the base of the petals. Irmtraud Rieck bred it.

Pairs well with Catmint, Blue fescue, and Carnaval De Nice tulip.
