Notes

'Rosamond' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Rosamond') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The large, double flowers are loose and clear rose-pink with crimson edges. They are fragrant, so they work well in a vase. Mr. and Mrs. John M. Lewis bred it.

Pairs well with Maltese cross, Japanese spirea, Sedge, and Picture tulip.
