Notes

'Rose of Heaven' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Rose of Heaven') is a perennial for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The double pink flowers look like large rosebuds. Golden yellow staminodes show at the tips of the blooms. Strong stems hold the flowers up on a medium height plant.

Pairs well with Perennial candytuft, Limelight hydrangea, Carlton daffodil, and Sensitive fern.
