Notes

'Rosebud' rhododendron (Rhododendron 'Rosebud') is an evergreen shrub for borders, shade gardens, woodland settings, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade and average to moist, sandy or loamy soil. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. Purplish pink flowers open from early to late spring and into early summer. Butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Japanese forest grass, Oakleaf hydrangea, Jacob’s ladder, and Snake's head.
