Notes

'Rosetta' peony (Paeonia 'Rosetta') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen use. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. Mauve, semi-double to double flowers open in early to late spring and attract butterflies. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Flowers sit above the blue-green foliage.

Pairs well with Korean spice viburnum, Niobe clematis, and Hicksii yew.
