Notes

'Rosy Gem' peony (Paeonia 'Rosy Gem') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It stays compact, growing to 15 inches high, and each stalk carries one rose-pink bloom. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Bees and butterflies visit the flowers.

Pairs well with White Feather hosta, Pyrethrum, Garlic chives, and Standing Ovation little bluestem.
