Notes

'Rouge Noelle' peony (Paeonia 'Rouge Noelle') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. Fragrant semi-double blooms open cream with a rose-pink flush in early to late spring. Each stem carries one bud and has good strength. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything.

Pairs well with The President clematis, Blue fescue, and Greig's tulip.
