Notes
'Rowena Brown' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Rowena Brown') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The large pink flowers open in early to mid summer. Silvery pink petal edges deepen toward the base, and yellow stamens give each bloom a warm glow.
Pairs well with Rainbow's End hosta, David garden phlox, Japanese spirea, and Carnaval De Nice tulip.
