Notes

'Royal Albatross' peony (Paeonia 'Royal Albatross') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. Cream petals with light purple tinges and black flares open in early to late spring and attract butterflies. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Southern Charm Paeonies introduced it in 2001.

Pairs well with Blue wild indigo, Blue fescue, Lily, and The President clematis.
