Notes

'Royal White' Texas redbud (Cercis canadensis 'Royal White') is a tree for borders, specimen planting, and woodland gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. White flowers open in early to late spring and draw butterflies and bees. The multi-stemmed tree grows at a moderate rate and turns color in fall. Deer tend to browse other plants first.

Pairs well with Witch hazel, Little bluestem, and Cinnamon fern.
