Notes
'Ruby Delight' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Ruby Delight') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Ruby-red flowers with golden anthers sit well above a compact bush. Dense foliage covers the stalks to the ground. Louis Smirnow bred it.
Pairs well with Limelight hydrangea, Orange daylily, and Blue grama.
