Notes

'Ruffled Pink Petticoats' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Ruffled Pink Petticoats') is a shrub for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Roy G. Klehm bred it, and it blooms in early to mid spring. The rose-pink flowers are highly ruffled and sit one per stem on strong stems. The foliage is a rich mint green.

Pairs well with Limelight hydrangea, Korean spice viburnum, Stargazer lily, and Blue grama.
