Notes

'Ruffles' hosta (Hosta 'Ruffles') is a perennial for shade gardens, borders, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average moisture. Fragrant pale lavender to white flowers open from early to late summer and draw butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. The plant also tolerates salt.

Pairs well with Limelight Prime panicle hydrangea, Sorbet peony, and Autumn crocus.
