Notes

Satin poppy (Meconopsis napaulensis) is a perennial for borders. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes part sun and average to moist, loamy or clay soil. It grows 47 to 59 inches tall and blooms in spring and again in summer. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. Its leaves stay evergreen.

Pairs well with Columbine, Siebold's hosta, and Peony.
