Notes
'Alba' blue poppy (Meconopsis betonicifolia 'Alba') is a perennial for shade gardens, woodland borders, and cool-climate beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes part sun and average to moist soil. Its pure white flowers have orange-yellow stamens and open in early to late spring. It resents heat and humidity, so it does best where summers stay cool.
Pairs well with Regal Splendor hosta, Cutleaf toothwort, and Emerald Green arborvitae.
