Notes
'Lingholm' blue poppy (Meconopsis betonicifolia 'Lingholm') is a perennial for borders. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes part sun or part shade and average to moist, loamy or clay soil. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. The sky blue flowers measure three to five inches across and sometimes show purple flushes in young petals. It does best where summers stay cool and resents heat and humidity.
Pairs well with Earth Angel hosta, Lady fern, Autumn fern, and Canadian hemlock.
