Notes
Lampshade poppy (Meconopsis integrifolia) is a perennial for woodland gardens, shade borders, and cool-climate beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes part sun and average to moist soil. Golden, globe-like buds open to cupped yellow flowers up to four inches across. The fuzzy, grey-green leaves and stems reach up to three feet tall. It is short-lived and may self-seed, and it resents heat and humidity.
Pairs well with Jacob’s ladder, Wood sorrel, and Snake's head.
