Notes

'Schöne von Köln' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Schöne von Köln') is a shrub for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The flowers are double, which gives the blooms a full, layered look. Cut a few stems to bring indoors.

Pairs well with Abiqua Drinking Gourd hosta, Stargazer lily, and Hicksii yew.
