Notes

'Seiryu' Japanese maple (Acer palmatum 'Seiryu') is a tree for specimen plantings, accents, containers, and woodland gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. It grows slowly into a broad form, shows fall color, and attracts bees and birds. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. You can plant it where you want a drought tolerant focal point.

Pairs well with Royal fern, Jack Frost Siberian bugloss, Spring snowflake, and Silver Edge Japanese pachysandra.
