Notes

'Senator Burda' rose (Rosa 'Senator Burda') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Its dark red blooms are fragrant and attract bees. They open in late spring, again in summer, and once more in early autumn. Marie-Louise bred it in 1988.

Pairs well with Sasanqua camellia, Anemone, Mondo grass, and Society garlic.
