Notes

'Sequin' gomphrena (Gomphrena haageana 'Sequin') is an annual for borders, containers, and cut flowers. It cannot take cold, and a freeze will end its season. This plant likes full sun and average to moist soil of most types. Rose and cream blooms appear from early to late summer and again in early to late autumn. Butterflies and bees visit the flowers. Deer tend to pass it by. It is drought tolerant, so it is easy to care for.

Pairs well with Strawflower, Black Knight butterfly bush, and Lemon grass.
