Notes

'Seraphim' peony (Paeonia 'Seraphim') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. It is an abundant bloomer with fragrant white single flowers, and Saunders bred it in 1929.

Pairs well with Fire Island hosta, Blonde Ambition blue grama, and Western sword fern.
